The HPP Open wouldn’t be possible without a fantastic team of volunteers. We are looking for volunteers for various roles to help stage Finland’s largest international tennis event at the Tali Tennis Center in November. Volunteers are needed for HPP Open Helsinki Tennis Week for 14.-22.11.2026.

As a volunteer, you will be part of the 2026 HPP Open team and experience an international tennis tournament from a whole new perspective.

During the week, volunteers work in a wide variety of roles, from tournament operations and on-court activities to events, customer service, VIP experiences and event operations. Roles and shifts are assigned based on the needs of the event as well as each volunteer’s age, experience and availability.

No two days at HPP Open are exactly the same. Your role may even change during the day depending on the needs of the event and, whenever possible, your own preferences. The minimum age for ball persons is 10 years, and there is no upper age limit for volunteering.

On weekdays, matches usually begin at around 1 PM, so many volunteer shifts are focused on the afternoon and evening. The more days you can join us, the better!

    There are many different volunteer roles available at HPP Open. Roles are assigned based on the needs of the event, but you can let us know which roles you are particularly interested in.

    What do HPP Open volunteers receive?

    All volunteers are introduced to their roles and receive an event shirt. We’ll also make sure everyone stays fuelled during their shifts: volunteers working more than six hours will receive a hot meal in addition to snacks and sandwiches.

    On the tournament Saturday, we’ll organize a special event for both adult and junior volunteers. Later in the autumn, volunteers will also be invited to a shared tennis event. And there may be a few familiar HPP Open surprises waiting for the crew during tournament week!
